Why Should You Support This Program?
Build Relationships. In our increasingly competitive industry, the clincher for most sales is not so much price as it is relationships and follow up in customer service. Competitors regularly purchase comparable technology or products, but it's difficult for a competitor to duplicate the long-term relationship between you and a client.
Customers place great value in how they are treated and catered to, and customer service has made and broken many individuals' and companies' reputations. That's why becoming an Advertiser, Key Club Member, or Supporter of the CPS community is so important. You will have direct access to the people making the decisions. Participation as an Advertiser, Key Club Member, or Supporter provides a valuable connection between vendors, service providers, and Computer DJs.
Computer DJs do business with people they know.
You're No Different Than Other Programs. We know of no other program like this for our industry, and you would think our program would be based on the original thoughts many of us have had during our long careers in the DJ/Music Industry. We thought we did also. But after close examination and research, we discovered that every word we planned to use in our program had been used somewhere else before. Except for antidisestablishmentarianism, it's very possible the rest can be found on the Internet and through many other industry learning resources. Every track and tune has been played, every word has been spoken, and every thought has been thought, except maybe our describing the Janet Jackson Super Bowl incident in 2004.
Our perception, arrangement, and focus on Computer DJing will be our difference. How we arrange our words will be as diverse as our personal DJing and mixing skills, and that is what will set us apart. You will find our certification format very similar to other non-DJ Trade Industry programs with a primary focus on the rapidly growing interest in Mobile/Club Computer DJing, either as a bedroom jock hobbyist or as a profitable, full- or part-time business. Our educational platform will cover community news and views of equipment and music along with sound advice from established industry pros, consultants, pioneers, and vendors on every step of the Computer DJing process, backed-up with an extensive Members-Only Learning Center.
In short: We are pioneering a new program that will greatly benefit the continued education of Computer DJs and developing positive vendor relationships with them.
As a potential sponsor, supporter, advertiser, and/or contributor toward the success of our program, you will find one word not used within this section: "exclusive." It was a unanimous agreement among the Directors that our program will not consider exclusive arrangements. An exclusive for one would mean exclusion for another and would jeopardize a fair and balanced educational platform. All participating vendors are subject to the terms of selected program; this does not exclude our own Directors.

The Official CPS Industry Survey
Computer DJing Industry Survey
The purpose of the survey is to collect product-anonymous information about computer DJs, which we will aggregate and publicly share with the hardware manufacturing and software development community community. The survey features multi questions, and upon completion you will be entered in a drawing to win some great prizes and software. All responses will remain completely anonymous and no personal information will be shared, harvested or sold.
The more completed surveys we get, the better our data will be, meaning our findings will be of greater interest to the hardware manufacturing and software development community. Be sure to take the survey! All of your information will remain anonymous, and once we receive enough responses, we'll announce when we'll publish the data.

CPS Certification Gives an Edge
In a white paper titled Certification: Networking With the Best, George R. Conrade, wrote, "Certification is an excellent way to gain a competitive edge and give proof of your abilities, knowledge, and level of skill. To be certified in any profession, whether it's as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or as a CPS Certified Disc Jockey (CPSDJ), means you have joined a network of individuals who meet consistent, knowledge-based standards of ability, position, experience-even ethics. When you pursue certification, you're testing yourself against these standards of proficiency." Click here for details.
